University of the Cumberlands is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097: Telephone number 404-679-4501) to award the Bachelor of General Studies, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, and the Master of Education Degrees. It is approved by the Kentucky State Department of Education for Teacher Education and Certification.
