Job Description: 

Under the direction of the Chair of the Business Department, this position is responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate Marketing courses online including Principles of Marketing, and elective Marketing courses.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching. The Adjunct Instructor is responsible for teaching courses of the highest quality through University of the Cumberland’s Blackboard environment. Additionally, the Adjunct Instructor will be proactively involved in continuing the growth of the Information Management Systems department and its programs through:

  • Teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in area of marketing.
  • Working collaboratively and successfully with colleagues and other university faculty members

Job Requirements: 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing or similar related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education preferred
  • Student-driven and teaching-focused with the ability to teach both traditional and nontraditional age students

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in teaching higher education and curriculum development
