Ms. Norma Patrick attended the State University of New York at Cortland, earning two degrees in Elementary Education, a B.A. in 1968 and an M.S. in 1973. She has completed additional study at Union College, earning 6th Year Program Principal Certification.
Since joining the Cumberland College faculty in 1985, Ms. Patrick has served as a Tier II Trainer in the Kentucky Teacher Internship Program. Additionally, she is a member of the Kentucky Advisory Council for Internship and the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Association of College Teacher Educators.
Ms. Patrick’s outstanding achievements in teaching have been formally recognized many times by members of the Cumberland College Community. She received the Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1995, the J.B. Fuqua Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1996 and 1999, and the Student Government Association’s Honored Professor award in both 1995 and 1997.
