
Mr. Cory McClellan
Assistant Professor of English

Cory McClellan was born and raised in Casa Grande, Arizona. He earned a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona in 1999. In 2004, he received an MFA in Creative Writing (specializing in poetry) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
Mr. McClellan has been a member of the University of the Cumberlands Department of English since 2007. During this time, he has assisted in preparing the student journal Pensworth and designed special English Compositon courses for students needing more intensive instruction. He has become a mentor for many of the writing students in UC’s creative writing program.
