It is impossible to describe in these few lines all that awaits at Cumberland. If you have not yet visited our campus I invite you to do so. You will find that this is a wonderful place to grow and learn. The entire Cumberland family is dedicated to providing the environment necessary for students to be successful while they are here and lifelong learners after they leave.

All of our programs are designed to place students in the best possible environment to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. The college's commitment begins with a highly qualified faculty. While they are some of the finest scholars in their fields, their first love is teaching. Faculty and staff here feel a strong sense of calling to serve at Cumberland. Their commitment to students extends well beyond the boundaries of the traditional classroom to include out of class discussions, personal conferences in their offices or other places on campus, and even invitations to their homes. They are not here to just do a job, they have the desire to serve others.

A wide range of opportunities are available here at Cumberland. We are especially proud of our outstanding library, computer labs, Distance Learning Center, opportunities for international travel and study, honor societies, social organizations, Leadership Training Program, and Community Service Programs. All of these, and many others, are important elements of the total University of the Cumberlands experience.
