Sigma Pi Sigma, the physics honor society, recognizes and celebrates outstanding achievement in physics and is dedicated to stimulating and encouraging an interest in physics at all levels of study. Members of the Cumberland College chapter, established in 1998, are strongly encouraged to serve the community by participating in activities that promote scientific interest and literacy among the general public.
