TROMBONE/BASS TROMBONE EUPHONIUM
TUBA
Applied study and participation in trombone choir and tuba euphonium
ensemble is open to any student on the University of the Cumberlands
campus. For applied study, students may sign up for either one half-hour
or hour-long private lesson per week during the semester for college
credit. An applied lesson fee is required of all students studying
privately with Cumberlands faculty.
Students are encouraged to participate in chamber ensembles like the
trombone choir, brass quintets, quartets and tuba euphonium ensemble.
There are many performance opportunities for these kinds of ensembles on
campus and around the area.
NEWS: The Cumberlands Tuba Euphonium Ensemble has been invited to
perform at the International Tuba Euphonium Association 2007 Southeast
Regional Conference in Cullowhee, NC in March, 2007.
