When he became a member of the Cumberland College faculty in 2001, Dr. Kirby Clark, brought with him over twenty-five years’ experience as a minister and professor of religion. He was a teaching assistant at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and has taught at Wayland Baptist University, as well as in the Seminary Extension Program at Belmont University.
Dr. Clark studied English and Philosophy at the University of New Mexico, and public administration at Western Kentucky University, earning a B.A. and M.P.S. degrees, respectively. He holds both an M.R.E. and a Ph.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
