Mr. Matthew Sebastian

Matthew Sebastian '08, actor and technician, worked in the Kohn theatre sceneshop as the Master Carpenter, Properties Master, and Assistant Technical Director, respectively. He also spent 3 summer seasons at the Ohio Light Opera working as both a stagehand, and scenic and properties carpenter, doing a 7-8 show rotating repertoire. In fall of '08 he accepted a position at the American Repertory Theatre, which is the resident professional theatre company at Harvard University, joining the stage crew as the Props Runner. He now works with a small crew to ensure the safety and integrity of the stage and scenic elements, build rigging systems, while also overseeing and maintain props during the run of shows.
