Hey I’m Whitney Baker I am a 2017 graduate of University of the Cumberlands with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Fitness and Sports Management. I am excited that you are interested in our University! I transferred to UC after my freshman year and have felt at home ever since I stepped on campus. I am excited that you are interested in our University! Hello! My name is Amanda Calhoun and I graduated from University of the Cumberlands in 2017 with a Masters in Teaching. If you are a female athlete and are interested in University of the Cumberlands, I will be your admissions counselor!

UC’s beautiful campus is surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains and is in-between Lexington, KY and Knoxville, TN.  Here at UC, the faculty and staff are committed to each student’s success by insuring a variety of learning opportunities. Not only will you have the opportunity to grow academically, but spiritually as well. We have several ministries, clubs and organizations, as well as 27 athletic teams on campus.

Greetings from University of the Cumberlands! One of the things I enjoy most about my job is sharing with prospective students what a great place UC is to get an education. As a student here, you can expect to be challenged academically by professors who genuinely care about your success. If you are interested in UC and live in the region of Central Kentucky then I will be your admissions counselor. I also work with students from Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, and Whitley County High School.

UC provides countless opportunities to get involved on campus and meet new people! We have intramural athletics, outdoor adventure, various clubs and organizations, marching band, choir, a campus newspaper, community service projects, Christian leadership, athletics, study abroad programs and lots more!

Hey! My name is Hayley Rice and I am a 2010 graduate of the University of the Cumberlands. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Communication Arts. If you are interested in UC and you live in Northwest region of Kentucky, Laurel County, or Williamsburg High School then I will be your Admissions Counselor. I also work with students from Indiana and International students. There are so many opportunities for you at University of the Cumberlands. The people here are phenomenal and our campus is in the heart of the mountains so you’ll fall in love with the scenery, buildings, and nature surrounding it as soon as you visit.

 

There are so many exciting things to get involved in on campus so whether you’re interested in sports, the outdoors, community service, Christian leadership, clubs and organizations, or just hanging out with your friends, you’ll never be at a loss for things to do. However, the most important thing about the University of the Cumberlands is our dedication to our students.
