Academic Scholarships

Academic Scholarships are types of Financial Aid given to deserving students without regard to issues of financial need.

Academic Scholarships are given to beginning full-time freshmen based on ACT and/or SAT scores as well as high school GPA. Beginning freshmen can receive an academic scholarship for four years by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 2.8 after two semesters, a 2.9 after four semesters, a 3.0 after six semesters and for each semester thereafter.

Transfer students are eligible for academic scholarships based on cumulative college GPA and ACT and/or SAT scores. They must have the same GPA requirements as non-transfer students.

Students should submit test score and GPA information to the Admissions Office prior to May 1. Students will be notified of their scholarship eligibility by the Financial Planning Office.
