Waye took a second place finish this past weekend at the Patriot Open.

Sophomore Jermaine Waye (Brunswick, GA) fell short of first place at the 125Ibs weight class in the final after a 3-5 loss to Jake Brumbelow of Carson Newmen College. Coach Medders was very impressed with Waye. “Jermaine is going to be very tough to handle in the next few years. He wrestles smart and I feel confident that he will continue to improve and his next outcome on the mat will be victorious,” stated Medders.
