The University of the Cumberlands Athletic Training Department would like to offer our services to you and your teams. Below you will find a listing of each sport (by season), detailing the Sports Medicine contact person and facilities for each. We hope you find this information useful and ask that you please share it with the coaching staffs of teams that will be traveling unattended by your sports medicine staff.

Each contest site will be equipped with water, injury ice, biohazard disposal and necessary emergency equipment (i.e. crutches, immobilizers, spine board, phone, access to ambulance, AED, etc) will be appropriate per venue. There will be a certified athletic trainer on site or on call for all contests. Athletic training room facilities will be available by contest as specified below.

Please call ahead if your team will be traveling unattended. No modality treatments will be provided without prior notice, and no athletic training students may administer modality treatments. Please have your team travel with a stocked medical kit when possible. If you would like for a modality treatment to be performed on an athlete, please fill out the form below and submit it to us at least 12 hours prior to the event, if possible.

In the event of a serious injury, x-ray facilities are located at nearby Baptist Regional Medical Center Emergency Room (15-20 minutes North) or at Jellico Community Hospital Emergency Room (15-20 minutes South). Our team physician may assist in expediting emergency room care by placing a phone call to the emergency room prior to your arrival, if needed. For emergency situations, an ambulance will be available for transportation. Visiting team nonemergency transportation will be the responsibility of that institution.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation, and we look forward to your visit to Cumberlands!
