A sporting event is just not the same without the cheerleaders. The screams and shouts calling all Patriots to their feet as the cheerleaders begin a new season. The ladies bring with them the new energy of their new coach, Judy Eaton. Being both a loving grandmother and a bouncy coach is difficult, but Eaton does it with dazzle.

Seniors to the sport are Heather Parks ( Corbin, KY), Charis Locke ( Nashville, TN), Tarrah Minor ( London, KY), and Beth Wooley ( Sebree, KY).

Also bringing back their perky smiles are sophomores Amanda Farris ( Corbin, KY), Greg Foley ( Lincoln County, KY), Jolina Miller ( Adams, TN), Julie Hammons ( Corbin, KY), Victoria Hatcher ( Williamsburg, KY), and Emily Sturgill ( Pineville, KY).

Introducing their voices to the Patriot fans are freshmen Amy Shemwell ( Trenton, KY), Sheena Coble (Tomahawk, KY), Rachel Worley ( Corbin, KY), and Michele Lackey ( Prestonsburg, KY).

The Patriot cheerleaders will perform at all of the home football and basketball games for the University of the Cumberlands. In addition they will be competing in the Mid-South Conference Cheerleading Championship’s in March.
