Dear Patriot Supporter,
I am excited to begin my third year as the Head Football Coach here at the University of the Cumberlands. We have had a successful off-season in the weight room and spring drills. Our recruiting of high school players was also a success and we are expecting several of those young men to help us repeat as Champions of the MSC and take it to the next level.
We will have our theme for the '08 senior picture and our season as “The Next Level”, which represents growth and advancement through the stages of our lives. Our goals are to work toward graduation, grow closer to God, and build as a football program. Our motto will remain "I WILL", and these are the three phases of our program that it represents.
“I WILL” means that I will do all of these things and be consistent in my actions. Lots of people want to have success. As a matter of fact, everyone wants to be successful. Here we are looking for those select few who are willing to do what it takes to be successful!
Besides giving you a brief overview of the introduction of our programs theme, I also wanted to offer our University of the Cumberlands Champion Clubs memberships. Some of these clubs are from years past and some are new. At this level of football, fund raising and support from club members and alumni are critical in the programs growth and success. Some of you have been instrumental in the programs growth in the past and I thank you for that and hope that you will continue to help into the future.
