    <description>Today, the brackets were released for the 2010 Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Tournament. The University of the Cumberlands Patriots are set to face the Cougars of Azusa Pacific University from Azusa, CA on Thursday, March 18th at 1:30 PM in Kansas City, Missouri.  Finishing with a final national ranking of #20 the Patriots will face #15 Azusa Pacific University in the first round. </description>

On Thursday, March 4, 2010, the Annual Mid-Conference Basketball Banquet Award Ceremony was held where the Conference named their All-Conference, Academic All-Conference, Freshman of the Year, and Player of the Year honors. Two Patriots were named to the first team, one to the honorable mention team, and four to the Academic All Conference Team.</description>

On Thursday, it took double OT for the Tigers to finish off the Patriots in a great contest.  The Tigers pulled out the victory 83-80; however, the Patriots found the &quot;W&quot; at home in yet another close game on the week with a 74-69 victory over the Bears.</description>
