As the Patriot student athletes strive to be their best on the links, Cumberlands Head Golf Coach Chris Kraftick has been promoting the University proudly as well. After day one of the Jack Shadwick Invitational hosted by Southern Wesleyan University, Cumberlands was in second place with a score of 302, shortly behind Lindsey Wilson College with a score of 297. http://www.ucumberlands.edu/athletics/sportsrelease/release.php?rk=1538 2008-09-30 The second Golf World/NIKE Golf NAIA Coaches' Poll of the fall season has been released, combining the resources of Golf World magazine, NIKE Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). British Columbia remains the number one team in the poll, earning nine of 11 first-place votes. The Patriot women finished the two day event tied for second place with Georgetown College with a team score of 693. This year, a new era will begin.
