    <title>Women's Soccer Grabs Wins over Montreat &amp; St. Catharine</title>

    <description>The University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer Team grabbed two more wins this week to give them a 6-4 overall record and a perfect 2-0 Mid-South Conference standing.  The ladies defeated the Cavaliers of Montreat College on the road, 3-1 before dribbling down visiting St. Catharine College 6-0 on Saturday, October 04, 2008.  </description>

    <title>Women's Soccer Defeats Georgetown; Fall to Asbury in OT</title>

    <description>This past week the University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer Team faced Georgetown College on September 23rd, for their first conference game of the season.   The Patriots defeated the Lady Tigers with a score of 2-1.    On September 27th, the Cumberlands returned to their home field where they took on the Lady Eagles of Asbury College.   In an overtime decision, the Patriots were defeated 2-1. </description>

    <description>On Wednesday, September 17th, the University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer team traveled to Oakland City University to take on the Mighty Oaks.   The Patriots took the win in a 3-0 shutout.</description>

    <title>Patriots Fall to Bulldogs in OT; Crush Cincinnati Christian</title>

    <description>&lt;p&gt;The University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer went 1-1 on the week as they took on Union College and Cincinnati Christian University.   On September 10th, Cumberlands held off the Bulldogs to take the game into overtime where the Patriots fell 0-1.   On September 13th, the Patriots traveled to Cincinnati Christian where UC dominated on the field and finished the game with a win of 9-1.</description>

    <description>The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the Top 25 poll on September 9th.   The University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer Team received one vote, but fell short of grasping a top 25 spot.</description>

    <title>Patriots Women's Soccer Defeat Rio; Fall to Bulldogs in 2OT</title>

    <description>The University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer Team finished out their first week of regular season play, with a record of 1-1.   On September 3rd, the ladies traveled to the Rio Grande University to take on the Red Storm.    Later that week on September 6th, Cumberlands hosted the Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan College.   The Patriots got the win over Rio Grande 5-0, but fell short to the Lady Bulldogs 0-1 in double overtime.</description>

    <title>Preseason Camp Begins Patriots Women's Season</title>

    <description>The University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer Program has been hard at work since August 15th preparing for their upcoming season.  Twenty-one girls showed up for the pre-season camp to begin working out and preparing for the 2008 season.  The schedule for the week started with a fitness test that totaled a mile and half of interval running along with some added spirits.  The week then turned to two practices a day, sometimes three-a-days, to get the girls back up to pace and ready for the season.</description>
