Women's Soccer Coaches Corner So we have closed another chapter in the 2006 edition of the University of the Cumberlands Women Soccer season. I believe all the players and coaching staff thought the season would turn out much differently. All would have thought that we would have won more games then we lost. Certainly, I would have liked to see more tangible progress but our season did not turn out that way. We did have some highlights to mention: Rebecca Rube named to the 1st Team All Conference. In addition, Rebecca was named player of the week in the conference Tammi Kerr was named to 2nd Team All conference Leslie Allred, Davin Caudill, Nery Saucedo and CJ Link were Honorable Mention All Conference Tori Hogg, Bethany Ott, Katie Delozier, Ashley Kennerly, Leslie Allred, Jamie Dubeck, and Nery Saucedo named Academic All Conference Tori Hogg, Bethany Ott, and Katie Delozier named Academic All Americans I do believe that we have a foundation for next season to be very successful. The current team will continue to train during the off season and begin preparation for next year and I am in the midst of a very hectic schedule of recruiting which will hopefully bring in another group of very talented players.
