| General Responsibilities: (10 Positions Available depending on financial need) | |
| * Athletic media work/serve as primary media contact | |
| * Statistical collection and reporting | |
| * Athletic publications and recruiting guides | |
| * Development of home contest programs | |
| * Supervision of athletic photos | |
| * Processing and responding to media inquiries | |
| * Maintenance of sports information web page | |
| * Daily administrative aspects of the sports information department | |
| * Supervision of student work-study | |
| * Day-of-game coverage/event management | |
| * Weekly meetings with assigned sport coaches | |
| * Other responsibilities as assigned or requested | |
| Qualifications or Preferred Experience: | |
| * Writing and reporting experience | |
| * Communication skills | |
| * Experience with desktop publishing software | |
| * Experience with statistical reporting software | |
| * Management skills | |
| * Computer proficiency | |
| Position Duration: | |
| * 10 month employment - August 15, 2008 - May 15, 2009 | |
| * Employment renewal negotiable | |
| * Summer employment and administrative work negotiable | |
| Educational Degree: | |
| * Work toward the Master of Arts Degree in Education | |
| * May work towards completion of teacher certification or pursue other course work as desired | |
