Early submission does not guarantee a positive response, but last minute requests are usually rejected. You will receive a reply via e-mail as to whether we were able to schedule your event.

Submitting this form signifies that I understand all arrangements for any necessary copyright permission for visiting performers and/or speakers are the responsibility of the sponsoring department or organization. CCTV-19 assumes no liability for copyright infringement if proper permissions have not been obtained.

NOTE: Cumberland College has prior arrangements for use of copyrighted music within regular college programs like Convocation, CC Student Concerts, ceremonies, and religious programs. Performer releases must be secured from visiting concert artists (e.g. Quest) and theatrical performances (e.g. Kohn Theatre main stage productions) in order to be videotaped. Release forms may be obtained by calling CCTV-19 at x4371. Generally, someone who agrees to speak at a college event understands that a recording is likely and will readily provide consent, but do not assume this. If you have requested a program to be videotaped you should notify and secure permission from your speaker or guest performer to be recorded for on-air use by CCTV-19. Some authors and performers will refuse. If this is the case, making a videotape for your departmental library will be considered on a for-hire basis with appropriate production charges.

PRODUCTION COSTS are waived for programs which can be played back on CCTV-19. Programs which have no practical value to CCTV-19's on-air programming will only be videotaped if the requesting organization agrees to cover the production costs.
