| Responsibilities | The Center Director is responsible for the development, education, vocational training and potential employability of a student population comprised of disadvantaged, “at-risk” youth in need of basic education, social, and vocational skills. The incumbentis responsible for providing the Center’s managerial leadership and in developing and implementing both short-term and long-range plans, policies and objectives. Organizing the work of the Center, the incumbent determines program emphasis, priorities, allocates and accounts for resources, sets targets, assigns responsibilities, and evaluates objectives and accomplishments of the Center. Work is integrated to assist in the accomplishment of the natural resource mission of the Forest Service. |
