Position  Senior HR Generalist
Requirements  1. Bachelors Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience. 2. Professional Certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred. 5-8 years of related human resources experience. Experience working in a customer contact center/call center environment preferred. Working knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) experience highly desired. Strong ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with employees and managers at all levels of the organization while maintaining extreme confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills, communication and facilitation skills and solid knowledge of HR related laws and regulations required. High volume recruitment experience with knowledge and proficiency in online applicant processing systems. Proven organization skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining timeliness and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to meet goals while working under limited supervision. Federal government contracting industry experience is highly preferred. Microsoft Office Suite experience is required.
Responsibilities  Provides specialized support for General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) HR related programs, policies and initiatives in one or more of the following HR functions: benefits, compensation, employee relations, immigration compliance, full life-cycle recruiting, performance management and/or training. Identifies and participates in the administration of HR policy and program development in partnership with senior managers and other HR staff. Develops and/or recommends new policies, practices, and programs to meet management and employee needs. Participates in the general full life-cycle staffing process for assigned positions (including sourcing, interviewing, testing, checking references, and selecting qualified candidates. Ensures new hires are successfully integrated into GDIT. Assists in the preparation and delivery of presentations for managers and employees on a variety of HR related topics. Conducts New Employee Orientation, and other training programs for Chester call center based employees. Provides management coaching on employee related issues such as performance, professional development, terminations and investigations. Assists with overseeing sites' affirmative action program including compliance with reporting and record retention requirements to conform to EEO regulations. Maintains knowledge of Human Resources policies and procedures, and state and federal labor laws applicable to assigned areas of responsibility. Assists Human Resources department on other assignments and/or special projects as requested. Establishes and maintains relationships with external recruiters, colleges and community outreach organizations.
