Students Earn Degree from UC in August 2011

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — In August 2011, 194 students completed their studies and graduated from University of the Cumberlands (UC).

This year marked one of the largest graduating classes to date with 518 total graduates. A combination of undergraduate as well as graduate degrees was awarded based on completion of requirements.

Twenty-six students earned a bachelor’s of science degree with one finishing out at UC with a bachelors of arts.

One student earned the masters in professional counseling while 163 earned a masters degree in teaching and/or education.

Three students finished out their time at Cumberlands earning their doctorate in education.

Located in Williamsburg, Ky., University of the Cumberlands is an institution of regional distinction, which currently offers four undergraduate degrees more than 40 major fields of study; nine pre-professional programs; seven graduate degrees, including a doctorate and six master’s degrees; certifications in education; and online programs.
