Campus Activities Director Receives Award

Williamsburg, Ky. - The Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities presented Lisa Bartram, University of the Cumberlands student activity board director, with a leadership award while she attended a conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

"It was an honor to be recognized," said Bartram.

This is the first year the association has given the award to recognize organization members. Bartram, along with other directors, received this honor during the conference.

The purpose of the weeklong conference is to view entertainment acts and to decide whether or not they are appropriate for campus activities.

Bartram was thankful for her recognition and excited for the university.

"I'm just thankful for being remembered,” she said. “I consider it a blessing."
