Bright has maintained a 3.8 overall GPA, been recognized as an honor student each year she has been in college, has served as secretary and treasurer for Cumberlands’ Social Work Club, is a missions leader and a bible study group leader for the Baptist Campus Ministries, has been recognized by the Who’s Who Among American College Students and is a Hutton Scholar.

Bright is the daughter of Jeanette Adams of Barbourville, Ky.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 117th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, as well as online and accelerated, nontraditional programs for adults.
