UC Confers 263 Degrees in August

Williamsburg, Ky. – University of the Cumberlands (UC) is pleased to announce that 263 students have graduated. Of these, 30 bachelor degrees, 228 master degrees, and 5 doctorate degrees were presented.

All Cumberland undergraduate students are required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of community service before graduation, and those who choose to complete a minimum of 200 service hours are named Hutton Scholars.

In 2013, over 800 students have received their degree from UC thus far with December grads still in the mix.

The fall semester began on August 28th with record breaking enrollment of 5,000 expected by the semester’s end as enrollment continues for graduate and online classes.

Located in Williamsburg, Ky., University of the Cumberlands is an institution of regional distinction, which currently offers four undergraduate degrees more than 40 major fields of study; ten pre-professional programs; ten graduate degrees distributed over eight areas, including two doctorates and seven master’s degrees; certifications in education; and online programs.
