Park to Receive Honorary Doctorate during upcoming Convocation Ceremony

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – University of the Cumberlands is to give an honorary doctorate of laws degree during the convocation services to be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 2, in the O. Wayne Rollins Center. Sung Soo Park, the recipient, is the CEO of C & Tel Company, the vice president of the Hotel Resort Society in Korea, and board member to Korea’s Food Service Management Society.

Presenting the service’s message to the campus community is world renowned pastor, evangelist and broadcaster Dr. Billy (Jang Hwan) Kim, president of the Far East Broadcasting Company.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 117th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, as well as online and accelerated, nontraditional programs for adults.
