Rev. Brad Lauer Speaks at Wednesday’s Convocation

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Rev. Brad Lauer spoke at University of the Cumberlands’ Convocation service on Wednesday.

“Worship is not the style. Worship is bringing pleasure to God,” said Lauer.

After posing questions as to how one approaches worship, Lauer said that in worship, we come to the presence of God no matter we are.

He closed with the question, “How will you worship God with your life today?”

Lauer is associated with the Crossing Ministries, which is an organization that holds camps and retreat functions for the Kentucky Baptist Assemblies (KBA), an agency of the Kentucky Baptist Convention. He also serves as the program director and associate director of Jonathan Creek Assembly in Benton, Ky.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 117th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, graduate degrees and certifications in education as well as online and accelerated, nontraditional programs for adults.
