Wilson Receives T.E. Mahan Campus Leadership Award


WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - University of the Cumberlands is proud to announce that Rob Wilson, of Williamsburg, is the recipient of the T.E. Mahan Campus Leadership Award.

In order to receive this award, each candidate must be an active participant in campus life activities and have an academic standing in keeping with the standards of the University and must be expecting to receive his/her diploma in the upcoming graduation exercises.

Rob is majoring in art education and will graduate with a K-12 certification. He has been a resident assistant and also served as senior resident assistant, as well as a Student Life assistant and director of the Rob Cook dormitory. He has participated in Appalachian Christian Ministries and was a summer counselor for two years at Camp Cedarmore, which is sponsored by the Kentucky Baptist Convention. He has used his musical talents both here on campus as well for the Praise Team at Cornerstone Community Church where he is the guitarist.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Ky., is a private liberal arts college in its 118th year of operation. Cumberland offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs.
