Silverman Awarded H.N. and Frances Berger Foundation Endowed Scholarship

 


WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Jonathan Silverman, of Dayton, Ohio, was awarded an H.N. and Frances Berger Foundation Endowed Scholarship during the University of the Cumberlands Honor’s Day service held April 23.

Silverman is a junior majoring in psychology and biology and plans to attend medical school.

The H. N. & Frances Berger Foundation Endowed Scholarship Fund was established at University of the Cumberlands in 1983 by Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Berger to recognize exceptionally bright young people who have demonstrated high academic ability.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 118th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, graduate degrees and certifications in education as well as online and accelerated, nontraditional programs for adults.
