Bowlin Receives Robert C. Noyce Scholarship

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.- University of the Cumberlands is proud to announce that Amy Bowlin, of Williamsburg, Ky., is the recipient of the Robert C. Noyce Scholarship.

Bowlin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Jerome Bowlin, is perusing a major in Biology, Mathematics, and Secondary Education.

The Robert C. Noyce Scholarship is awarded to those excelling in the Math or Sciences, who are also gaining teacher certification. This National Science Foundation Program encourages students with a keen interest in the sciences to teach in high need areas. These scholarships award $7500 per student.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 119th year of operation. Cumberlands offers four undergraduate degrees in 37 major fields of study, 30 minors and nine pre-professional programs, as well as online and accelerated, nontraditional programs for adults.
