Lt. Col. Richard Livingston administered the Oath of Office to Cadet Sharon McDonald.

Williamsburg, Ky. – On August 28, Cadet Sharon McDonald of University of the Cumberlands ROTC program received a commission as an officer in the United States Army. Lieutenant Colonel Richard Livingston, professor of military science at Eastern Kentucky University, administered the Oath of Office and presented the commissioning certificate to McDonald, who is now an Army second lieutenant.

McDonald, who received a B.S. in public health from Cumberlands, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew McDonald, of Benton, La.
