Johnathan Elliott performs junior recital |

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.—University of the Cumberlands junior and music education major Johnathan Elliott performed his junior recital on Friday, March 4 at the Nell Moore Recital Hall on the UC campus. Elliott performed percussion on James Campbell’s “Engine Room” and “Tork,” snare drum on Michael Colgrass’ “Six Unaccompanied Solos for Snare Drum I,” timpani on John H. Beck’s “Four to One” and vibraphone on “Menuetto con Variations” from Florant Meline’s “The Modern Flute Professor.” In “Four to One,” Elliott was accompanied by Zach Purdie on the snare drum, and in “Menuetto” by Michelle Kroger on the flute. Elliott is a student of James Corcoran, Jr., associate professor of music. He is from Jacksboro, Tenn.
