Micah Wolf performs senior recital |

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.—University of the Cumberlands senior and music education major Micah Wolf performed his senior recital on Saturday, March 5 at the Nell Moore Recital Hall on the UC campus. Wolf, a tenor, was accompanied by adjunct instructor Kay Dawn McFarland on piano. Wolf sang “Vaghissima sembianza” by Stefano Donaudy; “Vedi quel ruscelletto” by Benedetto Marcello; Robert Schumann’s “Im wunderchönen Monat Mai,” “Aus meinen Tränen spriessen,” “Die Rose, die Lilie, die Taube” and “Ich grolle nicht”; Gabriel Fauré’s “Le Secret” and “Rêve d’ Amour”; Antonin Dvořák’s “I will sing new songs”; “What Wondrous Love is This, arranged by Larry Moore; “On to Higher Ground,” arranged by Mark Hayes; “Who is Silvia?” from Gerald Finzi’s “Let Us Garlands Bring, Op. 18”; “Autumn Evening” from Roger Quilter’s “Four Songs, Op. 14”; “Everyday is Ladies Day” from Victor Herbert’s “The Red Mill”; “Only with You” from Maury Yeston’s “Nine”; and “The Coming of the Dawn” from Mark Baron’s “Frankenstein: A New Musical.” Wolf’s recital was given in partial fulfillment of the Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree. Wolf is from London, Ky. and is a student of Dr. Jeff Smoak, chair of the music department.
