Area High School Art Students to be Featured in University Display

Williamsburg, Kentucky - Local talent will soon be on display. Area high school art students will be featured in University of the Cumberlands exhibit running February 22 through March 8 in the J. M. Boswell Gallery of the Andersen Building on campus. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Annual High School Art Exhibition is open to the surrounding area and in the past has included students from McCreary Central, Whitley County, Williamsburg and Jellico High Schools. Works include two- and three-dimensional pieces in various mediums. Juried by the UC art faculty, winners and meriting students are recognized for their outstanding work.

University of the Cumberlands, located in Williamsburg, Kentucky, is a private liberal arts college in its 117th year of operation.
