This advanced research seminar course will provide students with principles and core concepts for strategically managing human resource talent. Students will conduct a study of various theories and practices including talent management approaches,assessment of talent resources, attraction, development and retention of top talent, performance incentives, and strategies managing expert talent domestically and abroad, among others. The final project in the seminar will be the development of a scholarly research paper analyzing a contemporary strategic talent management issues. Prerequisite: BROL 700 or permission of the Program Director. Credit, 3 hours.
