The curriculum includes three professional formation courses. This course (2) provides the student with knowledge of professional legal practice standards. Adherence to legal practice standards and responsibility to report suspected cases of fraud and abuse related to utilization of and payment for healthcare services will be emphasized. The course also provides a foundation for the clinical education experience portion of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Clinical education will be examined from the perspective of gaining an understanding of the working within different practice settings. Students will learn policies and procedures for clinical education and how evaluation methods and tools will be implemented during practicums.
