This course is a blend of theory and application to help candidates understand why and how to design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and practice, helping children achieve national and state standards through a play-based curriculum. Emphasis is on goals, environment, materials and the collaboration of teachers and parents. Field experience hours required. Credit hours: 3.
