An introduction to the skills and knowledge needed to plant a church in North America. This course will use as a foundation the biblical and theological basis for church planting, as well as the practical aspects of starting a new church. Particular attention will be given to the cultural aspects of church planting with surveys of the various schools of thought concerning church planting and an evaluation of those various methodologies. Prerequisites: MSMN 135, MSMN 136. Credit, 3 hours. Offered fall semester of even years.
