This clinical course allows students the opportunity to apply nursing process, critical thinking, knowledge, and skills acquired in the coinciding theory portion of the course in the clinical and/or simulation lab setting. Students may participate in clinical activities such as care of the prepartum, postpartum, and antepartum client, mother/baby care, care of the newborn, and labor and delivery. Total clinical/simulation clock hours is 60 hours. Co-requisite: NURS 130 Mother-Baby Nursing (2 hours).
