PHYS340. Classical Physics

This calculus-based, intermediate course provides a thorough quantitative understanding of physical phenomena primarily associated with mechanics and electromagnetism. This course expands upon the course content of PHYS 241 Physics I and PHYS 242 Physics II. Collectively, these three courses are equivalent to the traditional two-semester, calculus-based physics sequence. To meet the requirements for the calculus-based physics sequence, Physics I (PHYS-241), Physics II (PHYS-242), and Classical Physics (PHYS-340) must be taken. Credit, 4 hours.
