Your journey toward accomplishing your professional goals includes one mandatory residency weekend per semester, followed by 31 credit-hours of the most advanced digital forensics training available. Upon graduation, you’ll know the practical methodologies and have the leadership skills necessary to:

  • Perform forensic analysis of digital data
  • Know the ins-and-outs of Windows Registry forensics
  • Investigate and triage digital criminal activities
  • Maintain rules of evidence procedures
  • Analyze – and mitigate – malware

University of the Cumberlands has been named a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). There are just over 200 universities nationwide with CAE-CD designation, and only two other universities in Kentucky included in this elite group.

Residency & Class Attendance Policy
Residency weekend sessions are mandatory. You must attend each session in full to receive credit. If you miss any part of the session, you will be counted absent for the entire session. No exceptions. If you miss a single class session, you may make it up. More than one class missed results in dismissal from the University.
