Master's in Global Business with Blockchain Technology Careers

While blockchain technology is a relatively new area of focus for business and IT professionals seeking advancement, there are a number of career opportunities already being realized. According to a LinkedIn article, “Blockchain will generate $3.1 trillion in business value by 2030.” This has led the job title, blockchain developer, to be listed as one of the six most in-demand tech jobs this year. 

While the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has yet to address the emerging field of blockchain technology, a look at the leadership positions within the fields of business and information technology offer a general idea of the need for qualified professionals.

For example, job openings for Computer and Information Systems Managers¹ are projected to grow 11 percent by 2030. On the business side, openings for Top Executives² and for Administrative Services Managers³ are projected to grow 8 percent and 9 percent, respectively, over the same time period.
