Who We Work With
How to Get Started
Step 1: Call our office
When you contact us, we’ll help you set up a phone screening with one of our clinicians. During the screening, the clinician will ask you a few questions about the services and/or resources you’re interested in. He/she will also ask for your mental and physical health history, along with other relevant information to help us better serve you.
Step 2: Wait as we develop your personal disposition
After your initial call, the screening clinician will work with his or her supervising licensed psychologist and other members of the clinical team to create a personal disposition regarding your case.
Step 3: Set up your appointment
Finally, we’ll contact you within a week of your phone screening to schedule your first regular appointment (should an appointment with a PSC clinician be your best option), or we will provide you with an appropriate referral.
Clinical services will be provided primarily by doctoral students in the Psy.D. program under the supervision of faculty who are licensed psychologists in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. All services are provided in accordance with the APA Code of Ethics as well as applicable state and federal laws.
Our clinic adheres to a scope of practice within the training, experience, expertise and availability of resources of trainees and faculty. If at any time issues presented by a client extend beyond the scope of available services, appropriate referrals will be provided.
Fees are payable to the administrative assistant at the time of service. Debit or credit cards are the preferred form of payment. Personal checks or money orders will be accepted. Cash will not be accepted or kept on the premises.
Initial phone screening: Free
Psychotherapy fee (Paid at the beginning of each session): $15/session
Psychological Testing/Evaluation Fee (Flat fee paid at the beginning of the assessment): $200
