University of the Cumberlands’ Allied Health degree programs are designed to give students the technology and practical skills and tools they need to pursue a wide variety of careers in allied health fields. They are purposefully designed toward today’s business needs in the allied health field. Graduates of our program will be able to:
- Integrate knowledge from behavioral and medical sciences as a basis for allied health practice.
- Advocate for patients and families in ways that promote growth as diverse human beings
- Demonstrate administration skills and management processes within the interdisciplinary health care field
- Reflect attributes such as integrity, responsibility, commitment to evidence-based practice, caring attitude, and provision of safe, quality care for patients of diverse populations
