UC History program mission & goals

The mission of the history program at University of the Cumberlands is to give history majors a fuller understanding of history and different worldviews while helping them learn to weigh competing and/or contradictory evidence of arguments and communicate their knowledge and opinions clearly and effectively. The history program’s curriculum at UC concentrates on critical skills development that give history majors the abilities they need to succeed in a wide range of career goals in the fields of education, politics, and more.
