The goal of the pre-physician assistant degree program at Cumberlands is to offers students seeking careers as physician assistants the curriculum necessary to enter a graduate program that will prepare them for positions in the field. The interdisciplinary curriculum at UC includes a rigorous course of study in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. Students have the opportunity to pursue UC’s dual degree program in Physician Assistant Studies after three years of undergraduate coursework, or may choose to finish their bachelor’s degree and apply to PA programs at UC or elsewhere.
