Pre-Veterinary Mission and Goals

The mission of the preveterinary science program is to prepare pre veterinary studies majors for admission to veterinary school by providing a broad background in natural sciences, social studies and humanities. Pre-veterinary degree majors strengthen their scientific problem-solving skills while completing relevant programs in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, and English, classes which the majority of professional schools expect candidates to have completed during their undergraduate veterinary programs.
