Hey, I’m Mariah Bright and I am a 2014 graduate of University of the Cumberlands with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Human Services. I am currently pursuing my master's degree through UC. I started at UC in 2011 and remember how much this place felt like home from the minute I got here.

UC’s beautiful campus is surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains and is in-between Lexington, KY and Knoxville, TN. Here at UC, the faculty and staff are committed to each student’s success by insuring a variety of learning opportunities. Not only will you have the opportunity to grow academically, but spiritually as well. We have several ministries, clubs and organizations, as well as 27 athletic teams on campus.

From the moment that I stepped on campus, I knew that I would spend my next four years as a patriot! I transferred to UC after my sophomore year and felt as if I was always a Patriot. Don’t let the price of an institution keep you from happiness. There are a lot of resources and ways to make college affordable and attainable.
